I just received the following email from Fonda about June Belcher’s husband.

Melissa

Most of you may remember June Short (Belcher) who was active in MTDA for many years.  Her husband, Mike Belcher, passed away.  He will be at Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia, TN.  Visitation is tomorrow (Saturday, March 31) from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. and the funeral is Sunday @ 2:00 p.m.

I thought you would want to know.

In Friendship,

Fonda

Retreat photos

Hi everyone

I’ve finally figured out how to get photos posted to our website.  Thank you so much Marian for walking me through it.

To view the pictures once on the blog, hold mouse over Gallery at the top of the page and then click 2012 Retreat Photos.  If anyone has any other pictures we can post, please feel free to send them to me.  The extra practice helps alot.

Lettering brush for Ros Stallcup seminar

Hi everyone,

I’m sure after looking over the supply list for Ros Stallcup’s upcoming seminar, you might be wondering where you can get the lettering brush she has listed on her supply list.  I know I was wondering.  So, I emailed our wonderful Cindy Moore and asked her.  Here is what she found out for us regarding the lettering brush.  Thank you Cindy for checking on this for us.  Melissa

Dear Cindy,

The Scharff #170 brush is the lettering brush I will be bringing with me for your gals to purchase.  I use it for all kinds of things.
Spring is here many days too.   Daffodils are blooming and things are beginning to pop.
Have a great day.

More info regarding Ros Stallcup seminar

This post is regarding the books that are requested for the Ros Stallcup seminar.  This info came from Ros.  I also want to let you all know, in case you missed it on the previous post, paint will be provided at the Ros Stallcup seminar.

“I usually suggest that they bring Gran’s Workbook if they have it as it such good reference for many of the things we are painting.  Gran’s Magic has the hibiscus design that we are painting and could be helpful.  It is out of print but I will be bringing a few copies.  They do not have to have the books but could be helpful if they have them.”

Thank you
