This week I worked on painting King Tut on a black tote bag.  I started painting on fabric and still love it.  It is very similiar to oils to me.  I am still learning on faces – even trying not to let King Tut have a pig nose, but enjoyed the effort.  I was putting on my make-up this morning and thought about the eyeliner and makeup the Egyptians wore and how elaborate it was.  It is funny how art creeps into your everyday life.  I would hate to live my life without my art.

Girls, What do you tihink about having a monthly challenge in which we share ideas, references and studies on different subjects.  We all know how great it would be to keep a learning journal, but if we did a different subject every month and did some photos, doddles and research in a journal for the year, we couldn’t help but learn.  What you you think?
